Heterosexuality, homosexuality, and even bestiality do not adequately explain animal sexuality on Earth. Including humans. tl;dr: Animals enjoy, and will willingly engage in everything that is sexually stimulating, or that they think might be, if only they could work out the mechanical issues.

The need to classify a being as heterosexual, homosexual, bisexual, or anything else you want is not a particularly useful exercise. The need to do so seems to stem from the human need to categorize, and oversimplify more than anything. Other examples of this demonstration of seemingly pointless oversimplification and categorization, see the debate on whether a tomato is a fruit or vegetable. Or over whether Pluto is a planet or not. What we choose to call a tomato in no way affects its nutritional content, or its chemical composition in general. Nor does not matter one iota to the orbital patterns of the solar system, or what properties Pluto exhibits whether or not we call it a planet or anything else. It is going to keep right on strictly adhering to nothing but the laws of the universe and ignoring our naming conventions completely.
